About Louis Dell' Olio

In 1974, when Donna Karan took over at Anne Klein, she reportedly said, “there is only one person I’d ever want to work with… and that’s Louis.”

For the next nine years, Louis Dell'Olio worked closely with Donna before she left Anne Klein to start her own line. He stayed at the company for 11 more years and was solely responsible for designing the Anne Klein Collection and Anne Klein II.

Louis also designed a private line for Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Holt Renfrew.
